GREAT EAGLE H uses AI to optimize building operations in Hong Kong, achieving a 6.1% energy-saving benefit in the pilot program

Great Eagle Holdings (00041.HK) stated that the application of artificial intelligence (AI) is a key step for the group towards its sustainable development roadmap for 2030. This includes the group's headquarters, Great Eagle Centre, and the landmark property, Champion REIT (02778.HK), at 3 Garden Road. The property portfolio has already implemented AI optimization solutions developed by Jardine Engineering Digital Insights, the digital innovation division of Jardine Matheson.

The pilot program at 3 Garden Road employs AI energy optimization for 7,150 refrigeration tons of cooling equipment. In 3 Garden Road, the chiller units of Great Eagle Centre and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Tower cover a total area of 1.6 million square feet, successfully saving 6.1% in energy consumption and reducing approximately 287,000 kilograms of carbon emissions, resulting in an annual energy savings of over 435,000 kilowatt-hours, achieving full payback within six months
