Societe Generale picks small stakes in Bank of Baroda, Eicher Motors, Max Financial, PFC from Marshall Wace

Societe Generale has acquired small stakes in four companies: Eicher Motors, Bank of Baroda, Max Financial, and Power Finance Corporation (PFC) from Marshall Wace through open market transactions on September 12. The bank purchased 64,16,414 shares in Bank of Baroda for Rs 152.88 crore and 24,37,238 shares in PFC for Rs 97.4 crore, among other transactions. Eicher Motors shares rose by 1.73%, while PFC, Bank of Baroda, and Max Financial saw slight declines. Other notable transactions included investments in Tega Industries and Cube Highways Trust.
