FE CONSORT INTL's oil olive headland land use change to residential, the planning department is generally not opposed
FE CONSORT INTL (00035.HK) applied to the Town Planning Board to change a piece of land in Tsuen Wan from "Green Belt" to residential zone in 2023, intending to build three residential buildings. The Town Planning Board will review this today (19th). The Planning Department believes that the project for residential development is not unacceptable and will not have significant impacts in ecological terms, and in principle does not oppose the change of land use to residential zone.
The land is located to the west of the Tsuen Wan Water Treatment Plant, covering an area of approximately 69,100 square feet. FE CONSORT INTL has applied to change it to "Residential (Group B) 9" zone, intending to build three buildings of 26 to 27 stories, along with one basement, involving 613 residential units and providing approximately 100 beds for elderly care facilities and other social welfare facilities
