Singapore's LTA, SMRT, SBS Transit to Establish Rail Reliability Taskforce

Singapore's Land Transport Authority, SMRT, and SBS Transit are forming a rail reliability taskforce aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. This initiative will involve reviewing recent accidents, identifying operational deficiencies, and conducting technical audits to improve system responses and minimize service delays. The taskforce is part of a broader government strategy to invest SG$1 billion over the next five years to bolster the city's rail capabilities.
