The National Radio and Television Administration: China is making great strides towards the "Ultra High Definition Era," with 97% of provincial television stations already applying AI technology

The National Radio and Television Administration introduced that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China will promote the deep integration of culture and technology in all areas and links of radio and television, vigorously advancing the end-to-end development of ultra-high-definition across the entire chain, connecting content, broadcasting, transmission, terminals, and industry links, and making significant strides towards the "ultra-high-definition era." Plans are underway to build a new type of broadcasting network, creating three networks for infrastructure, content services, and business monitoring, strengthening and effectively utilizing this "core foundation" of radio and television. Actively promoting the innovative application and standardized management of artificial intelligence, currently, 97% of provincial-level television stations in China have applied AI technology, effectively empowering content creation, production, dissemination, and other links
