According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CHAODA MODERN (00682) announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, achieving revenue of RMB 63.36 million, a year-on-year decrease of 14.92%; a loss attributable to shareholders of RMB 14.64 million, a year-on-year decrease of 12.78%; and a basic loss per share of RMB 0.09.
The group's revenue was RMB 63 million, down approximately 15% from RMB 74 million in the previous fiscal year. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to a shift in local residents' leisure and entertainment habits during the fiscal year, with a surge in the number of people choosing short trips on weekends to shop and dine in areas outside of Hong Kong (especially Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area). On the other hand, although the number of visitors to Hong Kong increased by over 11% to approximately 47 million during the fiscal year, the number of Hong Kong residents entering Shenzhen far exceeded the number of mainland visitors to Hong Kong, resulting in a significant deficit that severely impacted the local dining and retail industries in Hong Kong, adversely affecting the group's local sales performance
