CR ASIA's wholly-owned subsidiary, GeLi, has signed a construction contract worth HKD 18.8 million with GanKai Cold Chain Engineering Services Limited, involving the renovation of a food production site located in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The project includes demolition, construction, electrical work, air conditioning, and fire protection systems, and is expected to enhance baking capacity and efficiency, strengthening the group's market competitiveness and operational efficiency
According to the announcement from Liya Retail (00831), on October 8, 2025, the company's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary GeLi entered into a terms document with the contractor GanKai Cold Chain Engineering Services Limited, whereby the contractor committed to provide engineering services for the construction project at the property, with a total contract amount of HKD 18.8 million, and to carry out the work in accordance with other terms and conditions agreed upon in the construction contract between GeLi and the contractor.
The property is located at the second floor of the Precision Manufacturing Center, No. 3 Da Hei Street, Tai Po Industrial Estate, New Territories, Hong Kong. The project involves the renovation of food production facilities, including demolition, construction, electrical work (including power supply upgrades), air conditioning, fresh air and ventilation systems, plumbing and drainage systems, fire protection systems, ultra-low voltage systems, and Internet of Things systems.
Upon completion of the construction project, the group expects to achieve several key benefits, including enhanced baking capacity and efficiency through the use of modern baking equipment.
