The two-year U.S. Treasury yield rose more than 2 basis points, reaching a daily high after the release of the Federal Reserve's meeting minutes

On Wednesday (October 8), at the New York close, the yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury rose by 0.58 basis points to 4.1287%, showing a V-shaped reversal during the day, hitting a daily low of 4.0940% at 20:30 Beijing time, and then reaching a daily high of 4.1345% after the release of the Federal Reserve's meeting minutes at 02:00. On the daily chart, it has been in a continuous downward trend since reaching 4.6247% on May 22.

The yield on the 2-year U.S. Treasury rose by 2.07 basis points to 3.5843%, hitting a daily low of 3.5574% at 20:24, and then continued to rise, reaching a daily high of 3.5926% at 02:04.

The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year U.S. Treasuries fell by 1.869 basis points to +54.028 basis points, refreshing a daily low of +52.315 basis points at 01:02 (quickly after the U.S. Treasury disclosed the results of the 10-year Treasury auction).

The yield on the 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) remained flat at 1.7647%; the yield on the 2-year TIPS rose by 2.25 basis points to 0.9888%; and the yield on the 30-year TIPS fell by 0.91 basis points to 2.4590%
