SYP: Dalian SYP melting furnace energy-saving upgrade and float glass production line automation transformation project ignition
SYP announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Dalian SYP Glass Co., Ltd. successfully ignited the energy-saving upgrade of the melting furnace and the automation transformation project of the float glass production line on October 10, 2025. This project will enhance the automation level of the production line and the melting furnace technology, strengthen high-end manufacturing capabilities, and promote the production of high-performance glass products to meet the demands in fields such as photovoltaics, solar thermal, and automotive, further consolidating the company's competitiveness in the high-end glass market
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SYP (600819.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Dalian SYP Glass Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dalian SYP") successfully ignited its energy-saving upgrade of the melting furnace and automation transformation project for the float glass production line on October 10, 2025.
After the project is officially put into production, Dalian SYP will achieve the dual goals of "production line renewal + high-end manufacturing," upgrading the core equipment melting furnace technology and enhancing the automation level of the production line. It will upgrade the manufacturing capacity of TCO glass substrates for perovskite and cadmium telluride thin-film solar cells, promoting the product structure to leap towards high added value and high-tech content, producing more high-performance glass products that meet the demands of photovoltaic, solar thermal, automotive, and industrial fields, better satisfying customers' needs for high-quality diversified products.
