MOISELLE INT'L Chairman sells 81.8 million for a four-bedroom unit in Mid-Levels, The Legend

Senior investor MOISELLE INT'L (00130.HK) Chairman and CEO Chen Qinjie and others recently sold a four-bedroom unit at The Peak for HKD 81.8 million, which is about 14% lower than the peak price.

The unit sold this time is Room C on a high floor of Block 3 of The Peak, with a usable area of 2,429 square feet, featuring a four-bedroom layout. It was sold last month for HKD 81.8 million including a parking space, at a price of HKD 33,676 per square foot. Information shows that the unit is owned by DRAGON FIELD LIMITED, with Chen Qinjie and his wife Xu Qiaojiao as the company's shareholders and directors. It is reported that the couple purchased the property in 2011 through a "shell acquisition." Although there is no transaction price information from that year, market participants expect substantial profits.
