Hesai and Fibocom collaborate to launch robotic lidar solutions

Hesai Technology (02525.HK) has reached a strategic cooperation with Fibocom (00638.HK) to jointly launch a laser radar-based multi-modal fusion perception and control solution for robots. This collaboration focuses on 3D laser radar technology and AI vision algorithms, targeting popular fields such as embodied intelligence, quadruped robotic dogs, and lawn-mowing robots, assisting robots in achieving key functions such as precise positioning, environmental perception and obstacle avoidance, path planning, and navigation. Currently, this solution has been applied to the latest robotic products of leading domestic embodied intelligence companies.

The Fibocom robotic solution has integrated Hesai's JT series mini 3D laser radar, incorporating algorithms for laser SLAM, V-SLAM, AI depth estimation, and multi-sensor fusion positioning. This solution significantly enhances the adaptability and reliability of robots moving in complex scenarios and can be widely used in commercial services, surveying and inspection, logistics delivery, and emergency rescue scenarios for wheeled and legged robots.

The cooperation will integrate Hesai's hardware advantages in perception with Fibocom's artificial intelligence technology, with expectations for continuous breakthroughs in smart home, intelligent manufacturing, and smart logistics scenarios in the future, promoting the deep integration of laser radar and AI algorithms, and accelerating the industrialization process of intelligent robots
