Nov 5 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Wednesday: Arthur J Gallagher has acquired Colorado-based Surescape Insurance Services to enhance its existing insurance brokerage and bonding capabilities in the construction industry, the broker announced on Tuesday. France’s CEVA Logistics has completed its acquisition of Turkish logistics provider Borusan Tedarik from Borusan Yatirim (BRYAT.IS) for $383 million, the Turkish conglomerate said in a stock market filing. The Woodlands Financial Group (TWFG) has acquired Alabama Insurance Agency and its 20 affiliated locations across the state, the Texas-based insurance intermediary said on Tuesday. E. Sun Financial (2884.TW) , Taiwan’s eighth-largest financial holding firm by assets, said it will acquire life insurance company Mercuries Life (2467.TW) in an all-share deal. British retailer Marks & Spencer (MKS.L) has not discussed buying the 50% of the Ocado Retail business it does not own, with the chief executive saying that such a deal was not currently in his plans. Ovintiv (OVV.N) said it would buy the rest of NuVista Energy (NVA.TO) in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $2.7 billion, including debt, strengthening the shale producer’s presence in Canada’s Montney basin. Sonida Senior Living (SNDA.N) is in advanced talks to acquire CNL Healthcare Properties (CHTH.PK) in a deal valued at $1.8 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter. Apollo Global (APO.N) has withdrawn its offer to take pizza chain Papa John’s (PZZA.O) private at $64 a share, according to two people familiar with the deal, as Wall Street waits to see what is expected to be a tough earnings report on Thursday. TriMas Corp (TRS.O) is selling its aerospace segment to an affiliate of investment firm Tinicum for $1.45 billion, it said on Tuesday, in a bid to focus on its core packaging business amid a push from activist investor Barington Capital. Starbucks (SBUX.O) said it would sell control of its operations in China to Boyu Capital in a deal that values the business at $4 billion - one of the largest divestments of a China unit by a global consumer company in recent years. AnaCap Financial Partners-backed German insurance intermediary MRH Trowe has further grown its regional presence with the purchase of a majority stake in M&A transaction insurance MGA Pantheon Underwriters. Real estate services firm CBRE Group Inc (CBRE.N) said it has acquired infrastructure maintenance firm Pearce Services from New Mountain Capital for about $1.2 billion in cash, with a potential earn-out of up to $115 million.
