They were followed by lender Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria ( BBVA ) and biopharmaceutical company argenx (ARGX), which were up 2.9% and 2.7% respectively.The decliners from continental Europe were led by semiconductor company Sequans Communications (SQNS) and software firm SAP (SAP), which dropped 3.5% and 3.3% respectively. They were followed by internet browser company Opera (OPRA) and biopharmaceutical company Grifols ( GRFS ) , which lost 3% and 2.7% respectively.From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Bicycle Therapeutics ( BCYC ) and pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca ( AZN ) , which advanced 4.4% and 3.3% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Amarin ( AMRN ) and pharmaceutical company Silence Therapeutics ( SLN ) , which increased 2% and 2.6% respectively.The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by medical device maker Smith &amp; Nephew ( SNN ) and alcoholic beverage company Diageo ( DEO ) , which fell 12% and 6.5% respectively.
