According to foreign media citing informed sources, mainland aluminum smelting company Innovation Industry plans to go public in Hong Kong, aiming to raise approximately USD 700 million (about HKD 5.46 billion). CICC and HTSC are the sponsors for the listing.

Informed sources revealed that Innovation Industry, headquartered in Inner Mongolia, plans to start accepting investor subscriptions as early as Friday (14th) and is expected to land on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the coming weeks. The company began assessing investor interest in its Hong Kong IPO this week.

The company focuses on alumina refining and electrolytic aluminum smelting in the upstream of the aluminum industry chain. Its business is mainly divided into the production and sales of electrolytic aluminum and alumina and other related products, with sales revenue from electrolytic aluminum accounting for 85% of total revenue last year, and sales of alumina and other related products accounting for 12.2% of total revenue
