J&T EXPRESS sets a new record for global package volume during Double 11, with rapid growth in Southeast Asia and new markets

J&T EXPRESS (01519.HK) announced that this year, driven by global e-commerce promotional periods such as "Double Eleven" and "Black Friday," the group's global order package volume has grown rapidly. On November 11, J&T EXPRESS's global package volume once again surpassed 100 million, setting a new historical high, with a year-on-year growth of 9%.

From November 1 to 12, J&T's global average daily package volume reached 94.59 million, a year-on-year increase of 15%. During this period, Southeast Asia and new markets experienced rapid growth, achieving strong growth rates of 78% and 83%, respectively. Among them, the average daily package volume in the Philippines during "Double Eleven" increased by as much as 55% compared to regular days; several Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam, saw significant growth during the promotional period in early November, with Vietnam's cumulative package volume from November 1 to 11 increasing by 211% year-on-year.

The group stated that to cope with the peak business season at the end of the year, it has preemptively carried out 18 capacity expansion and upgrade projects in Thailand, covering capacity upgrades for 10 processing centers and 8 distribution points, and has added 5 sets of fully automated sorting equipment, achieving an overall capacity increase of 80% at the operational site. In terms of transportation capacity and manpower assurance, during the peak business season, more than 300 temporary trunk vehicles will be deployed daily in Thailand, and over 9,000 personnel will be arranged at the end-point network
