
Chinese Mega Broker Collaborates With Bloomberg

Guotai Haitong, China's largest brokerage, has partnered with Bloomberg in a two-year strategic collaboration to expand globally. The partnership focuses on financial data, technology, and market engagement, aiming to advance international business, data governance, wealth management, and overseas family office services. It also seeks to enhance research content distribution and brand initiatives to strengthen global presence and investor engagement.
China’s largest brokerage house has established a strategic tie-up with Bloomberg for the purpose of expanding globally.
Guotai Haitong and Bloomberg have formed a two-year strategic collaboration, according to a statement, with a focus on deepening cooperation in financial data, technology and market engagement.
Through the tie-up, the Chinese brokerage giant will look to advance its international business, data governance, wealth management and overseas family office services. It will also expand research content distribution and initiate brand initiatives to strengthen its global presence and enhance investor engagement.
«China’s financial markets are an integral part of the global economy, and we look forward to working with Guotai Haitong to strengthen ties between Chinese capital markets and global ones,» commented Bloomberg founder Michael R. Bloomberg.
Bloomberg had previously formed a collaboration with Guotai Junan in 2023, prior to its merger with Haitong Securities in 2024.
