Today (19th), the People's Bank of China conducted a seven-day reverse repurchase operation in the open market amounting to 310.5 billion yuan (the same below), with the operation interest rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 195.5 billion yuan of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net injection of 115 billion yuan. The central parity rate of the yuan against the US dollar was adjusted down by 16 points to 7.0872 per US dollar.

The three major A-share indices opened slightly lower and then expanded their gains consistently, with the ChiNext Index rising more than 1% at one point, but nearly erasing its gains before the morning market closed, while the Shanghai Composite Index and Shenzhen Component Index were relatively soft. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,938 points, down 1 point or 0.04%, with a turnover of 451.6 billion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 13,038 points, down 42 points or 0.3%, with a turnover of 654 billion yuan; the ChiNext Index closed at 3,072 points, up 3 points or 0.1%, with a turnover of 298.1 billion yuan.

Banking stocks performed well, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) rising 1% and 1.2%, respectively. Bank of China (601988.SH) rose 2.8%.

Lithium mining stocks Ganfeng Lithium (002460.SZ) and Tianqi Lithium (002466.SZ) rose 3.7% and 4.3%, respectively. Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (300750.SZ) rose 1.9%. BYD (002594.SZ) also fell 1.2%. Lithium carbonate futures main contract rose nearly 6% during the day, breaking the 100,000 yuan mark.

Gold-related stocks remained stable, with Zijin Mining (601899.SH), SD GOLD (600547.SH), ZHONGJIN GOLD (600489.SH), and Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining (600988.SH) rising between 1% and 2.3%.

Leading chip stocks rebounded, with SMIC (688981.SH) and Hua Hong Semiconductor (688347.SH) falling 1.9% and 2.2%, respectively. Technology stock Cambricon Technologies (688256.SH) rose 0.5%
