A rare level five fire occurred at Tai Po Hong Fu Court, resulting in significant casualties and property losses. Midland Holdings expresses deep concern and hopes to fulfill its corporate social responsibility by donating a total of HKD 1.5 million to support those in need. Initially, on the 27th, through its "Midland Charity Foundation," it donated HKD 1 million to the "Salvation Army" for purchasing supplies and called on colleagues to donate and to go donate blood when needed, receiving enthusiastic responses. In just one day, a total of HKD 500,000 has been raised. Several colleagues actively donated blood, working together to help the disaster victims. The funds collected by colleagues will be fully donated to "Caritas Hong Kong" to continue providing the most appropriate support for the injured and the families of the deceased.

The fire has affected countless families, and some Midland colleagues have also been impacted. The group has specially donated HKD 30,000 as emergency funds to each colleague residing in Hong Fu Court and provided five days of paid leave to handle personal matters.

The group sincerely thanks its colleagues for their active participation. Everyone's actions reflect the spirit of "there is love in the world," and it is hoped that this warmth can not only touch every Midland person but also reach every individual in need of help. Midland will continue to monitor the situation and will allocate additional funds as needed, working hand in hand with all sectors to assist those in need
