According to reports, the Cheng family is negotiating the sale of some assets of the Grand Hyatt Hotel
According to sources cited by Bloomberg, representatives of Joseph Tsai, the chairman of New World (00017.HK), have been in contact with several companies to discuss the possibility of selling some assets under the Rosewood Hotel Group.
The Rosewood Hotel Group is managed by Joseph Tsai's daughter, Zheng Zhiwen, and is owned by the Tsai family's investment company, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises. The company acquired the entity holding the hotel operating rights and its shareholder loans for HKD 1.96 billion in 2015
