The 70,000th vehicle was a Sealion 06 SUV (sport utility vehicle), locally rebranded as the Sealion 6.</p><p>The vehicle was delivered to an employee of BYD's Thailand plant, according to a statement released by BYD today.</p>    <div>        <p><span>Join us on </span>            Telegram            <span> or </span>            Google News        </p>    </div><p>Construction of the BYD Thailand plant commenced in March 2023, with production starting in July 2024.</p><p>Located in the WHA Rayong 36 Industrial Estate, the facility spans nearly 960,000 square meters and reached its 10,000th vehicle production milestone in November 2024.</p><p>The plant has an annual designed capacity of 150,000 vehicles.
