The credits were generated by its Diamond Green Diesel 50:50 joint venture with Valero Energy. </span></p><p><span>Darling has secured US$185m in PTCs in 2025 backed by the scheme. DGD has capacity to produce more than 1.2bn gallons of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel annually. The fuel uses recycled animal fat and cooking oil as feedstock to produce low-carbon fuel with up to 80% fewer lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions than fossil fuel.
