
U.S. total rig count gains 5 in latest Baker Hughes survey
The U.S. rig count increased by 5 to 549 in the latest Baker Hughes survey, following a drop of 10 rigs the previous week. Crude oil rigs rose by 6 to 413, while gas rigs decreased by 1 to 129. The total rig count is down 6.8% compared to last year. Rigs in the Permian, Williston, and Eagle Ford Basins remained unchanged.
