MEITU: Establishing an AI Innovation Studio with a basic funding application of 10 million RMB

MEITU (01357.HK) CEO Wu Xinhong recently stated that the company is transitioning from a medium-sized company back to a startup team, creating AI innovation studios for internal "horse racing." Each studio will have no more than 10 people and will focus on versatile talents. They can apply for a basic fund of 10 million RMB, with additional investment based on the actual needs of the project, with a six-month period for product innovation. Additionally, team members can receive corresponding bonus incentives.

He added that to address the challenges of the AI era, MEITU is proactively undergoing organizational transformation, hoping that the team of over 2,000 people can become small organizations. Currently, MEITU needs to enhance organizational efficiency and capability, with efficiency benchmarked against agile startups and capability enabling everyone to become a super individual.

MEITU's latest report this morning (12th) shows a price of 7.2 RMB, up 2.42%, with a trading volume of 26.7905 million shares, involving a capital of 192 million RMB
