Emperor Cinemas Group announced another collaboration with Swire Properties, following last year's announcement of its entry into the Beijing Sanlitun Taikoo Li project, to open Emperor Cinemas at Beijing Taikoo Place, which is expected to officially open in 2027, becoming the group's third cinema operating in Beijing. "Taikoo Place" Brand Debuts in Mainland China The new cinema is located at Beijing Taikoo Place in Chaoyang District, Beijing. This project includes the currently operational Yintai Center comprehensive development project and its phase two expansion, marking the first appearance of the "Taikoo Place" brand in mainland China. Yintai Center is adjacent to the 798 Art District and boasts direct subway access, making it one of the most popular vibrant communities in Chaoyang District and even all of Beijing, integrating business, shopping, and leisure entertainment. According to the Beijing Municipal Government's "Beijing Urban Master Plan (2016-2035)," Chaoyang District is clearly positioned as an important strategic area in the overall planning, with increasingly rich business district functions. Looking Forward to Hosting More Major Film Premiere Events Emperor Group Vice Chairman Yang Zhenglong expressed his pleasure in collaborating again with Swire Properties and his honor in entering the first Taikoo Place project in mainland China; with the group's two cinemas located in Beijing's CBD area (Chang'an Street Emperor Group Center and Sanlitun Taikoo Li Emperor Cinemas), he believes that a "three-store" chain synergy effect can be formed in the capital, benefiting the group's overall network development.
