Goldman Sachs strategist Snider says the market has not fully priced in the 2026 U.S. economic growth expectations
Goldman Sachs strategists pointed out that despite a cyclical rebound, traders have not fully reflected the expectations of accelerated U.S. economic growth next year. Ben Snider and other team members stated that the current market expectation for U.S. real GDP growth in 2026 is only 2%, lower than Goldman Sachs' forecast of 2.5%. The strategists added that consumer stocks and stocks affected by non-residential construction have underperformed relative to the levels implied by the economic growth outlook. (Bloomberg)
