The construction of Unit 6 of the CGN Ningde Nuclear Power Project Phase II started today
Today, the No. 6 unit of CGN Fujian Ningde Nuclear Power Plant completed the first concrete pouring of the nuclear island, marking the official commencement of the main construction of the unit. The Ningde Nuclear Power Project is located in Taima Mountain Town, Fuding City, Fujian Province, and plans to build 6 units of one million kilowatt-level nuclear power units, implemented in two phases. It is the first nuclear power station in Fujian Province to start construction and be put into operation. Among them, units 5 and 6 of phase two of the project both adopt China's independent third-generation nuclear power technology "Hualong One." (CCTV)
