In other markets like Mexico, the Atto 8 corresponds to the Tang SUV sold in China.</p><p>BYD highlighted that the Atto 8 measures over 5 meters in length with a 2,950mm wheelbase, delivering spacious interiors for relaxed and comfortable journeys.</p><p>Both versions feature BYD's fifth-generation DM Super Hybrid technology. The DM-i variant boasts a combined range of 728 km, alleviating range anxiety for family road trips, the company said.</p><p>The DM-p variant delivers a combined maximum power output of 359 kW and incorporates the DiSus-C chassis control system for enhanced handling in complex road conditions.</p><p>To date, BYD has launched nine models in the Middle East, including five plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and four battery electric vehicles (BEVs).</p><p>The company will deepen partnerships in the Middle East to provide local consumers with more environmentally friendly and efficient green mobility options, BYD said.</p><p>The Tang family represents BYD's flagship SUV lineup within its Dynasty series.
