According to reports, Lin Jianyue reduced his holdings in LAI SUN DEV by USD 6.5 million in bonds
According to a report cited by Bloomberg, the chairman of LAI SUN DEV (00488.HK), Lin Jianyue, sold a total of USD 6.5 million (approximately HKD 50.6 million) of LAI SUN DEV's USD bonds last week, reducing his holdings by nearly half. Bloomberg estimates that Lin Jianyue sold these bonds at a price of about 75% of face value based on public information. Lin Jianyue currently still holds USD 7 million in LAI SUN DEV USD bonds.
The report mentioned that Lin Jianyue first reduced his holdings of LAI SUN DEV USD bonds worth approximately USD 3.5 million last Thursday (11th), and the next day further sold about USD 3 million. The total principal amount of these bonds is USD 493 million, with a coupon rate of 5 cents, maturing in July 2026
