Guangxi issued the "Implementation Plan for the New Round of Mineral Exploration Breakthrough Strategic Action during the 14th Five-Year Plan"
Recently, the "Implementation Plan for the New Round of Mineral Exploration Breakthrough Strategic Action in Guangxi during the 14th Five-Year Plan (Non-ferrous Metals and Key Metals)" was officially issued. The plan clarifies that in the next five years, Guangxi will fully empower the high-quality development of the non-ferrous metal industry, especially key metals, through artificial intelligence, focusing on nine key metals such as tin, antimony, and indium, as well as non-ferrous metals like aluminum, copper, and zinc. It aims to anchor the core direction of "breakthroughs in new areas and increased reserves in old areas," with a focus on implementing basic geological surveys and mineral exploration in three mining areas in northeastern Guangxi, southeastern Guangxi, and western Guangxi, as well as the Nandan-Kunlun Pass mineralization belt, referred to as "three areas and one belt." By 2030, Guangxi aims to achieve high-quality development in the non-ferrous metal industry, especially key metals, significantly enhance the capacity for mineral resource security, achieve a basic geological survey coverage rate of 59%, submit 20-30 mineral exploration target areas, discover 8-10 new large and medium-sized mineral deposits, and add a batch of key metal mineral resources
