
The He Tao Hong Kong Park officially opened today, with over 60 companies signing lease agreements
The Secretary for Innovation and Technology of Hong Kong, Sun Dong, stated in a blog that the Hong Kong section of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Cooperation Zone will officially open today (22nd). The first phase includes three completed buildings, consisting of two wet laboratory buildings and one talent apartment, and the construction of the remaining five buildings is currently in full swing, aiming for completion starting in 2027.
He mentioned that a market intention survey had previously been conducted for the remaining land of the first phase of the park, receiving 27 submissions. The government will gradually release the remaining land of the park to the market starting next year, inviting the industry to jointly develop the park with the government. Regarding investment attraction, the market response to the development of the Hong Kong section of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Cooperation Zone has been positive. Currently, over 60 companies and institutions from local and overseas sectors such as life and health technology, microelectronics, new energy, and artificial intelligence have signed leases and are gradually moving in. Considering other shared facilities, the utilization rate of the two wet laboratory buildings has reached 80%
