The market demand for NVIDIA's next-generation AI servers continues to heat up.
According to the latest report from Taiwan's Economic Daily, securities investment institutions and analysts expect that NVIDIA's GB300 series servers will begin small-scale shipments by the end of this year, with large-scale production expected to ramp up in the first half of next year. Market analysts predict that the total shipment of GB300 cabinets for the entire year next year is expected to reach 55,000 units, achieving a year-on-year growth of 129%. This strong forecast is backed by active procurement from top global cloud service providers (CSPs).
The report points out that Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, and Dell are currently the customers with the strongest demand. In contrast, the demand from Google and Amazon AWS is expected to be between 3,000 and 4,000 cabinets. This distribution of demand directly affects the order allocation of downstream foundries and becomes a key indicator for investors to assess supply chain value.
Even more noteworthy is that the product iteration speed from GB300 to Vera Rubin 200 has not slowed down. Reports indicate that the next-generation AI server Vera Rubin 200, which will replace the Blackwell architecture, is also expected to begin mass production and shipment in the fourth quarter of next year.
<h2>Strong Demand, Tech Giants Actively Positioning</h2>
As a key product of the Blackwell platform, the shipment progress of GB300 is highly anticipated by the market. Analysts point out that, unlike the GB200, which was affected by yield and design adjustments, the shipment schedule for GB300 has not been delayed, and production is progressing smoothly. Additionally, GB300 has improvements in specifications or usage of key components such as cooling, substrates, and connectors, which means its shipment unit price and overall output value will be higher than previous products, likely driving performance growth for supply chain manufacturers.
Foxconn Chairman Liu Yangwei previously stated that customer demand for computing power is very strong. He provided a forecast for next year's cabinet shipments of 50,000 to 60,000 units, calling it a &#34;rather conservative estimate,&#34; with some optimistic forecasts reaching as high as 100,000 units. This statement indirectly confirms the hotness of the AI server market.
<h2>Supply Chain Landscape: Foxconn and Quanta Share Major Orders</h2>
Driven by strong demand, Taiwan's AI server supply chain will benefit significantly. In terms of the foundry landscape, Foxconn and Quanta have become the main contractors for GB300 orders.
According to analysts, Foxconn, as a major supplier for Microsoft and Oracle, and having secured the position of second supplier for Meta, will become the main foundry for GB300. Although Quanta has lost some Meta orders, it has also gained a small number of orders from Oracle and Microsoft. Meanwhile, Wistron continues to maintain its solid position as Dell's exclusive supplier. In addition to the assembly factories for complete cabinets, key component suppliers such as TSMC, Delta Electronics, Shuanghong, Qihong, and Chuanhu will also benefit from this wave.
<h2>Manufacturers' Outlook is Optimistic, Order Visibility Extends to 2027</h2>
Facing a continuous influx of orders, major foundries hold an optimistic outlook for the future. Quanta has stated that due to the ongoing increase in demand from CSP customers, several new customer projects have been shipped successively, and order visibility has extended to 2027
The company confirms that GB300 has entered the mass production stage, and the delivery speed is expected to accelerate.
Hon Hai is continuously expanding its production capacity through investments in Texas, California, Ohio, and Wisconsin to meet the urgent demands of customers. Liu Yangwei revealed that the production yield of the company's new generation cabinets has significantly improved, and the shipment volume in the fourth quarter is rapidly increasing, with expectations of achieving high double-digit quarterly growth
