Large-cap bank stocks underperformed the market, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) rising 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively. The "three telecom giants" weakened, with China Mobile (600941.SH), China Telecom (601728.SH), and China Unicom (600050.SH) falling between 0.6% and 2.1%.
International gold prices rose, boosting gold-related stocks, with Zijin Mining (601899.SH), Shandong Gold (600547.SH), Zhongjin Gold (600489.SH), and Chifeng Jilong Gold (600988.SH) rising between 3.6% and 4.6%.
Major chip stocks performed well, with SMIC (688981.SH) and Hua Hong Semiconductor (688347.SH) rising 6% and 4.5%, respectively. Cambricon (688256.SH) and Moore Threads (688795.SH) each rose 1.3%. Lian Microelectronics (605358.SH) hit the daily limit up.

Ganfeng Lithium (002460.SZ) and Tianqi Lithium (002466.SZ) rose 1.7% and 1.9%, respectively. Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (300750.SZ) fell 0.6%. BYD (002594.SZ) remained stable with a slight increase of 0.2%.
