Hong Kong stocks fluctuated upward today, with the Hang Seng Index opening 105 points or 0.4% higher this morning (22nd), reporting 25,795 points. Major technology stocks generally rose moderately, with Kuaishou-W (01024.HK), Baidu-SW (09888.HK), and Alibaba-W (09988.HK) rising between 0.6% and 1.3%. Major financial stocks showed mixed performance, with HSBC (00005.HK) reaching a high of HKD 121.6 during the session, repeatedly setting a historical high after dividend payment, closing up 1.7% at HKD 121.3, with a turnover of HKD 2.341 billion. AIA (01299.HK) rose slightly by 0.2%, while Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388.HK) closed flat. China Life (02628.HK) and Ping An (02318.HK) fell between 0.3% and 1.1%.

Resource stocks performed well, with Jiangxi Copper (00358.HK) and Zijin Mining (02899.HK) rising between 4.9% and 5.3%, and Minmetals Resources (01208.HK) rising 4.2% to close at HKD 8.75, setting a historical closing high. Aluminum stocks Nanshan Aluminum International (02610.HK), Chalco (02600.HK), and Hongqiao (01378.HK) rose between 1% and 1.2%, while newly listed Innovation Industry (02788.HK) rose over 5%. International silver prices hit a record high, with China Silver (00815.HK) closing up 5.8%.

China Shenhua (01088.HK) opened high but softened throughout the day, closing down 0.6%. It announced a total price of RMB 133.6 billion to acquire assets from its parent company, with 30% to be paid through the issuance of consideration shares and the remaining 70% settled in cash. The company plans to raise RMB 20 billion through A-share issuance New consumption stocks performed well, with Old Town (06181.HK) surging 6.5% to close at HKD 700.5, with a turnover of HKD 1.01 billion. Mixue (02097.HK) rose 10.1% to HKD 435, with a turnover of HKD 689 million. Pop Mart (09992.HK) increased by 4.6% to HKD 201.8, with a turnover of HKD 2.344 billion. Mixue Ice City is internationalizing its business, with its store in Hollywood, Los Angeles officially opening last Saturday (20th). The store is located directly opposite the "Chinese Theatre" on the Walk of Fame and offers affordable prices, with the signature ice cream priced at USD 1.19.

Hainan concept stocks were active, with China Duty Free (01880.HK) closing at HKD 81.85, up 15.77%, with a turnover of HKD 1.219 billion.

Some AI-related stocks surged, with SenseTime-W (00020.HK) rising 8.5% to HKD 2.04, with a turnover of HKD 1.587 billion. GDS Holdings Limited-SW (09698.HK) increased by 3% to HKD 34.7. Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (06869.HK) rose 11.2%, with a turnover of HKD 3.059 billion.

WuXi AppTec stocks fell against the market trend, with WuXi Biologics (02269.HK) and WuXi AppTec (02359.HK) down 3% and 2.6%, respectively, ranking as the top two decliners among blue-chip stocks. Innovent Biologics (01801.HK) also fell by 1.7%. Hang Lung Properties (00101.HK) also declined by 2.2%
