EVE invests 1 billion to build a sodium battery headquarters, simultaneously laying out a robotics AI center
On December 22, Wall Street News learned that EVE's "EVE Sodium Energy Headquarters and Jinyuan Robot AI Center" project officially broke ground in District D of its Huizhou headquarters. The total investment in the sodium battery sector is approximately 1 billion yuan, with a planned construction area of about 90,000 square meters and a designed annual production capacity of 2GWh. This base is positioned as an innovative platform integrating "R&D - pilot testing - mass production," focusing on tackling sodium-ion battery products that are "trace-free" (self-degradable without recycling) and "non-combustible." Leveraging its advantages in wide temperature range and high safety, the new production line will primarily serve AIDC (Artificial Intelligence Data Center) and energy storage scenarios, helping to achieve the "0-carbon sodium battery" goal while rapidly responding to load changes
