Report: NVIDIA, SK Hynix, and Phison Electronics jointly develop AI solid-state drives
Taiwan's Economic Daily reported that NVIDIA has partnered with South Korea's SK Hynix to create a new type of artificial intelligence (AI) solid-state drive, with Taiwanese company Phison Electronics also participating in the development. The performance of the AI-specific solid-state drive is expected to be 10 times higher than that of the solid-state drives currently used in AI servers.
