EGL HOLDINGS (06882.HK) Chairman Hsuan Kuo-Chuan stated that the overall situation for travel groups and outbound travel during this year's Christmas holiday is relatively optimistic. The industry expects the number of outbound travel groups to reach 1,500, with a particularly ideal growth in mainland groups, showing a year-on-year increase of 30%.
Hsuan Kuo-Chuan pointed out that the company has invested more resources in developing mainland line products over the past two years, especially since the high-speed rail coverage network is extensive. Additionally, traveling by high-speed rail does not incur oil surcharges or face high seasonal ticket prices, making high-speed rail-related travel products popular among consumers
