Jiangxi Copper agreed to acquire the copper miner SolGold Plc, with the deal valuing the company at slightly over $1 billion. After two previous offers were rejected, SolGold stated in a statement on Wednesday that it has accepted the latest cash offer from the Chinese company at a price of 28 pence per share for its remaining shares.
