The local stock market opened higher on the first trading day of the last week of 2025, with the FTSE Straits Times Index rising 0.1% or 4.42 points to 4640.57 points on Monday (December 29).
As of 9:09 AM, the total trading volume in the local stock market was 79.65 million shares, with a trading value of SGD 61.05 million. There were 124 gainers and 58 losers.
Among the constituents of the index, 13 stocks rose, eight fell, and nine remained unchanged.
The biggest gainer was Keppel DC REIT, which rose 0.91% to SGD 2.23; the biggest loser among the index constituents was Thai Beverage, which fell 1.09% to SGD 0.455.
