Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk has lowered the price of its obesity drug Wegovy in China. The company is currently preparing to deal with a potential wave of generic drugs. A spokesperson for Novo Nordisk stated that the price reduction will "help alleviate the treatment burden on patients and improve their quality of life." (Bloomberg)
