Goldman Sachs co-leads financing for Texas AI power campuses - report
Goldman Sachs and Newmark Group are collaborating to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for developing AI power campuses in Texas. The project, led by GridFree AI, aims to build modular natural gas-fired generation for data centers in south Dallas, with initial power delivery expected within 24 months. Each site will have a capacity of about 1.5 gigawatts. This initiative reflects a growing trend on Wall Street to finance the infrastructure needed for AI growth. Additionally, Blackstone's AirTrunk is considering a potential IPO in Singapore.
