Longgutan plans to carry out reclamation projects starting in 2028
The government announced plans to carry out reclamation works in the approximately 240-hectare area of the foreshore and seabed at Longgutan. The affected foreshore and seabed areas are detailed in the government announcement published today (2nd).
The proposed works include filling the seabed to create approximately 145 hectares of land; relaying the underwater sewage outlet; and constructing a seawall. The proposed works are tentatively scheduled to commence in 2028
