Image credit: Xpeng)</figcaption></figure><p>Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV, HKG: 9868) will launch updated versions of its P7+ sedan and extended-range G7 SUV in the coming days, kicking off its 2026 product rollout.</p><p>The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker announced today that the updated P7+ and the G7 extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) version will be launched in China on January 8 and in Europe on January 9.</p><p>The Chinese launch event for both models will commence at 3:00 pm Beijing time in Guangzhou -- the city where Xpeng is headquartered -- while the European launch will begin at 9:00 am local time in Brussels, Belgium.</p>    <div>        <p><span>Join us on </span>            Telegram            <span> or </span>            Google News        </p>    </div><p>Currently, both the P7+ and G7 are only available as battery electric vehicles (BEVs). They will soon get EREV variants as Xpeng advances its &#34;dual- powertrain&#34; strategy following the launch of the EREV variant of its X9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) in November.</p><p>The updated P7+ and extended-range G7 will both be built on an 800-volt high-voltage platform. They will employ Xpeng's Kunpeng Super Electric System's strategy of pairing a large battery with a larger fuel tank to address range anxiety.</p><p>The P7+ was launched in China on November 7, 2024.
