"European Stocks" Pan-European Stoxx 600 hits a new high again, InPost receives full acquisition proposal soaring 28%

Investors are closely watching the geopolitical developments following the U.S. overthrow of Venezuelan leader Maduro, and European stock markets rose again on Tuesday. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index hit a new all-time high, rising 0.6% to 605 points.

In individual stocks, logistics self-service locker company InPost received a full acquisition recommendation, with its shares rising 28%. Chip stocks also climbed, with Dutch chipmaker ASMI up 8% and BESI rising by half. Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk saw its stock price continue to rise, increasing by over 3% on Tuesday.

The UK FTSE 100 index closed up 118 points or 1.2% at 10,122 points. The German DAX index closed up 23 points or 0.1% at 24,892 points. The French CAC 40 index closed up 25 points or 0.3% at 8,237 points
