BAIC New Energy and Pony AI have launched the strategic cooperation 2.0 phase, with L4 level Robotaxi set to expand to the Middle East and Europe

On January 10th, BAIC New Energy and Pony AI officially reached a "five-in-one" strategic cooperation. The two parties will jointly promote the global rollout of the ZEEKR Alpha T5 Robotaxi, providing replicable operational models and business ecosystems, with a focus on markets in the Middle East and Europe.

Since completing the strategic signing at the first Technology Day in November 2024, they have produced 600 units of the ZEEKR Alpha T5 Robotaxi and have launched comprehensive operations in Beijing and Shenzhen, covering various complex driving scenarios such as urban roads, highways, and urban ring roads, achieving all-weather, all-scenario autonomous driving operations.

This deepened cooperation is based on the successful practice of large-scale production and operation of the ZEEKR Alpha T5 Robotaxi and will further expand the breadth and depth of cooperation, systematically advancing across five dimensions: product, market, industry, ecosystem, and capital.
