For domestic users traveling abroad, the number of WeChat payments in Malaysia, New Zealand, the UK, and other places has grown the fastest. More and more merchants around the world are promoting "smart scene upgrades" through "Chinese-style technology" such as mini-programs and WeChat Pay. Mini-program services have covered 100 countries and regions globally, with the number of times mini-programs were used by cross-border and overseas users exceeding 5 billion times throughout the year, and the transaction amount completed through mini-programs in the second half of the year increased by over 70% year-on-year
