On Thursday (January 15), the South African FTSE/JSE Africa Leading 40 Index closed down 0.03%, continuing to hold above 113,000 points. Component stocks Sasol (SOL.SJ) fell 5.25%, Richemont (CFR) dropped 4.15%, Prosus declined 3.89%, Naspers decreased 3.53%, Sibanye Stillwater, Mondi (NMP), Impala Platinum Holdings (IMP), Harmony Gold (HAR), AngloGold Ashanti (ANG), and Gold Fields (GFI) fell between 1.85% and 0.31% to enter the top ten declines. British American Tobacco (BTI) rose 2.44% to rank fourth, Rinet Investments (RNI) increased by 2.45%, Bid rose 2.58%, and OUTsurance Group climbed 4.04%
