Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Firmly opposes any agreements with sovereign implications and official nature signed by countries that have diplomatic relations with the Taiwan region of China

In response to the recent trade agreement between the United States and Taiwan to reduce tariffs on Taiwan's semiconductor exports to the U.S., Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jia Kun stated at a regular press conference on January 16 that China has always firmly opposed any agreements with sovereign implications and official nature signed by countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan.
