Six airlines launch 600-flight blitz as Lunar New Year capacity doubles

Six airlines, including Air China and China Eastern, will operate over 600 extra flights to China for Lunar New Year, significantly increasing capacity compared to 2025. The flights will serve 15 cities from February 1 to March 8, covering major cities like Shanghai and Guangzhou, as well as secondary cities such as Changsha and Ningbo. Each of the three major airlines will operate more than 140 additional flights.
