"Foreign Exchange" Japan warns of possible intervention as the yen strengthens
Japan does not rule out any options to respond to the weak yen, including coordinating interventions with the United States, leading to a stronger yen. The latest exchange rate for the US dollar against the yen is 158.07. The exchange rate for 100 yen against the Hong Kong dollar is 4.93. The latest US Dollar Index remains at 99.323.
The euro against the US dollar has fallen to 1.16.
The British pound against the US dollar hovers around 1.338.
The US dollar against the Swiss franc has dropped to 0.802.
The US dollar against the Canadian dollar has risen to 1.392.
The Australian dollar against the US dollar has fallen to 0.668
