JD Hong Kong announced the launch of a large community support project "Happy Home Plan" in response to the Hong Kong SAR government's initiative to improve the quality of life for citizens, especially public housing residents. Leveraging JD's supply chain capabilities, the project aims to help public housing families reduce housing and living costs through multiple subsidy-exclusive services, offline activities, and innovative products.

To address the pain points of limited housing budgets and scattered purchasing among public housing residents, JD Hong Kong has specially launched a dedicated section for the "Happy Home Plan." Additionally, this section offers "public housing exclusive discounts," allowing users to enjoy a maximum discount of 300 RMB, further alleviating the burden of housing costs.

In response to the common issues of "difficult delivery, expensive installation, and troublesome after-sales" when purchasing home appliances, JD Hong Kong provides users with a one-stop worry-free full-chain guarantee for home appliances, relying on JD Logistics to offer exceptional services from collection to delivery. For large furniture and appliances, JD Logistics provides moving and on-site services without charging any on-site fees.

Furthermore, JD Hong Kong has partnered with TCL to launch a new generation of inverter silent window air conditioners, WhispIN, specifically for Hong Kong users. The product uses a UK standard plug, complies with Hong Kong safety specifications, and its energy-saving performance has been recognized by the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, achieving a maximum of Grade 1 energy efficiency label. It can also instantly detect power consumption when paired with an app. The product will be exclusively available for sale through JD channels, and its public housing exclusive price is expected to create the lowest price ever in the Hong Kong market for similar products
